About Our Modern Climbing Wall

12 Ropes, 60 Routes, Grades 3 to 7b
​Top Rope & Lead Climbing

Roped & Lead Climbing at the Morley Climbing Wall at Morley Village & Sports Hall (near Wymondham, Norfolk) is open to all climbers aged over 15 – beginner’s courses can be arranged.
There are periodic classes for under 15s, often on Sundays.
 
There is a £10 annual Registration Fee and full BMC Membership is highly recommended (this gives you Personal Indemnity Insurance and discounts to some outdoor shops).
 
There is regular climbing on Tuesday & Friday evenings at our Social Climbing Sessions from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm - £7 / session – if you come climbing on your own, we will find someone for you to climb with.
There are also climbing sessions on Monday mornings 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, again £7 / session.
Or you can buy 6 climbs at £36
Beginners lessons are £17 / lesson (most beginners need a couple of lessons.
All payments are by Debit or Credit Card on arrival at the climbing wall.
 
There are 12 lines from 5 metres to 7 ½ Metres which accommodate over 60 routes, including some aretes. Routes range from Grade 3 up to Grade 7b.
 
Additionally, there are occasions for experienced climbers to try their hand at supervised Route Setting Sessions.
 
Qualified and Insured Climbing Instructors and Adventurous Activity Providers are welcome to hire the climbing wall for their own sessions from £15 / hour.
